Dearest everyone. This Sunday we will be discussing the book of Hebrews. The book was written during the infancy of God’s Church, and captures the struggles of our Jewish brothers and sisters in ‘staying’ true and faithful to the gospel of grace. They were challenged to wean themselves from traditions and beliefs that were just ‘shadows’ of the realities to come only through Christ Jesus. We are living in a time of “inclusivity” and the temptation to be accepting of everything in order to ‘belong’ can lead one to a trap of compromising the full truth of the finish work of Christ for our salvation. The exclusivity of the of Christ … “I am the Way …,” is the highest, and final escape God provided for the salvation of men. God bless us a new as we break bread together this Sunday.
